3-Step Adjustable Mattress Base
The Aela features a 3-position adjustable mattress base, allowing the sleeping height to be changed as your baby grows and becomes more mobile.
The higher setting provides convenient access during the early newborn stage. As your baby develops and begins sitting, pulling themselves up or standing, the mattress base can be progressively lowered.
This adjustable design allows the cot configuration to adapt to different stages of your child’s early development.
Removable Side Panels
The Aela has been designed with removable side panels, allowing the sleeping space to transition as your child grows.

Care & Maintenance
Regular Cleaning
Wipe the Aela Cot Toddler Bed regularly using a clean, soft and dry cloth. For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the surface immediately afterwards.
Mattress Care
Because the mattress is included with the Aela bed, keep it protected with a correctly fitted mattress protector and fitted sheet.
Clean spills promptly according to the mattress care instructions and always allow the mattress to dry completely before replacing bedding.
Periodically remove bedding and allow the mattress to air in a clean, dry and well-ventilated room.
Mattress Base Care
Regularly inspect the adjustable mattress base and supporting fittings.
When moving the base between its three available positions, ensure all fittings are correctly installed and securely tightened before placing the mattress back onto the base.
Removable Side Panels
Always follow the correct assembly procedure when removing or reinstalling the side panels.
Before allowing your child to use the bed, ensure the remaining frame, side components and all associated fittings are secure.
Avoid Harsh Cleaning Products
Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, solvents or harsh household chemicals on the bed frame.

Heat & Sunlight
Position the bed away from fireplaces, heaters, open flames and other direct heat sources. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong direct sunlight where possible.

Child Safety

Beautiful Bed and Great Value
We are very happy with the Aela Cot Toddler Bed. The design is beautiful and looks lovely in our little one’s bedroom. I especially like that the mattress comes included because it saved us from having to look for the correct size separately.
